Recently, the market of display devices was enriched with a new group of devices called&#13;
electronic paper (e-book). In this paper, technologies enabling the realization of this type&#13;
of systems, their physical bases of functioning and parameters possible to obtain are&#13;
introduced.&#13;
Also, the direction of development of new e-readers is described. Special attention is paid to&#13;
colourful e-readers.&#13;
Simultaneously, it is showed what change in education systems as well as our everyday life&#13;
this new display generation can make.

<summary type="text">Problemy z głosem nauczycieli z krótkim stażem zawodowym – w teorii i praktyce badawczej

In the theoretical part of the presented paper basic causes of teacher’s voice problems are&#13;
described. Teachers are a very specific group, specially exposed to occupational diseases. In&#13;
this paper a group of teachers with short job experience, working in their occupation up to&#13;
15 years, was analyzed. If students decide to become teachers, they must be aware that their&#13;
future work will cause remarkable load of the voice organ. This paper also contains analyses of&#13;
legal and practical issues, useful advice for teachers, and moreover the concept of introducing&#13;
a new subject called “Voice emission” in pedagogical studies. In the last part of this paper, the&#13;
results of pool research on the efficiency of the subject “Voice emission” are presented.&#13;
Key words: teacher, voice emission, occupational disease.

The paper deals with the low-dimensional magnetism. Some historical concepts as well as&#13;
present theoretical and experimental approaches are presented. Special attention is paid&#13;
to the one-dimensional systems. Some typical examples of the one-dimensional magnetic&#13;
compounds are given together with the necessary conditions required to form and realize&#13;
one-dimensional magnets.
