X-radiation (abbreviated as x-ray) examination is still the rudimentary diagnostic method
for a range of afflictions. X-ray image is nothing else but a set of grayness points. The modification
of this image by means of employing morphological transformations is aimed at
individualizing tubercular changes. In a number of cases x-ray image is the diagnostic base
used in contemporary phthisiology. The application of morphological transformation of the
image targets to sharpen the pathological changes. With that, the establishment of diagnosis
is said to be quicker and more accurate. There is no need to perform supplementary x-ray
imaging which is beneficial for the patient as he is not exposed to another portions of health-
-detrimental radiation. Furthermore, the diagnostic difficulties which could cause the usage
of supplementary methods such as x-ray computed tomography are undergoing the process
of diminishment.

X-ray image is a picture of specific body part produced in tones of gray. Human chest area is
a place where highest number of x-ray diagnosed afflictions occur. Adjusting selected ranges
of gray tones by means of colour saturation results in obtaining a picture revealing afflictions,
which might have been overlooked at early stages of development or their development is
already more advanced that had been expected. There are objects easily discerned on a modified
x-ray image such as calcifications, fibroses and present lung volume. Analysing images
with pneumoconiosis may cause problems as this affliction at an early stage does not look
very different than a normal, healthy state. By undergoing the process of colour saturation
a monochromatic x-ray image gains more details and increased contrast between specified
lung parts.

This article is dedicated to the analysis of the problems of formation of personal and social
identity of teenagers as a necessary precondition for self-determination and self-realization
in the unstable modern society. The basic tendencies of teenagers’ self-categorization of personal
profile are considered. Based on the theoretical considerations, an empirical study of
the personal constructs of the field of teenagers’ subjective scenarios was made, the results
of which are presented in the Article. Сharacteristics of teenagers’ self-presentation and self-
-narrative system have been identified and analyzed. It has been proved that a parity dialogue
in a complex of purposeful psychological and pedagogical support of the personal formation
promotes constructive modelling of teenagers’ behavioural symptom-complex.

This study attempts to define the disorders related to Internet use as an indication of addiction
to new technologies. The scientific studies conducted to date appear to indicate the
behavioural nature of the excessive use of the new media, including the Internet, which seems
to be increasingly noticeable in environments linked to young people and school-related
communities. The diagnostic issues related to this concept seem to be made more difficult by
the fact that because of the relative novelty of the problem there are insufficient empirical
pre-conditions to meet the criteria of clinical addiction. The complexity of the problem is
compounded by the significant differentiation of the forms of misuse of the new technologies
and a series of pathological factors which accompany this issue. For practical reasons, it seems
crucial to discuss the issue by depicting the definition of behavioural addiction against
the backdrop of the virtual world of the Internet, alongside the accompanying destructive
consequences present within the information society.
