Poznanie Innego w dialogu Szmuc, Elżbieta This article presents a particular dialogue situation - conversation between a hearing and a hearing-impaired person. The author does not describe the conversation as a whole; rather than on the linguistic forms, she focuses on the description of how interpersonal relations emerge. This paper brings closer to the reader the process of knowing the other, meaning both the hearing and the hearing-impaired persons. This problem can be found in works by philosophers, anthropologists, and psychologists, owing to which the author noticed the need to examine the activity and the existence in communication. The paper quotes the philosophers of dialogue, who offer a number of profound observations showing the moment of conversation as a moment of meeting another human being. Reflections of these philosophers inspired the author to consider the special dialogue situation between hearing and non-hearing persons, and motivated her to conduct a research on the subject. Obraz świata w wypowiedziach dzieci z zespołem Aspergera Korendo, Marta The author discusses the problem of social functioning of people with Asperger syndrome and the communication difficulties that they encounter. The paper draws from anthropology issues to show the therapeutic importance of words, which are both the means and the aim of stimulatory activities. In order to illustrate the discussed issues, the author quotes fragments of conversations with children affected by autistic disorders. Na początku było słowo Cieszyńska, Jagoda The author of the paper recalls the stages of the origin of writing in phylogenesis, in order to explain the origin of the young - less than 200 years old - Polish sign language. The text contains suggestions how to build up the stages of an efficient therapy in situations of specific disturbances of reading and writing activities. The article also brings up a thesis that it is necessary to repeat the historical development of writing while teaching reading - from simultaneous unities (pictograms, ideograms, vowels, onomatopoeias, globally-recognizable nouns) to linear sequences (from syllabic to alphabetical writing); from reading aloud to reading texts in solitude. Filmowe sposoby antropologicznego poznania Skowronek, Bogusław The aim of this article is showing the methods of anthropological perception of man, phenomena and forms of culture through a film. All films, regardless of their form and genre, can be the bases of anthropological analysis. The hermeneutic foundation in such analyses is the method of “thick description”, characteristic of the interpretive anthropology model by Clifford Geertz. The elementary notional categories forming the interpretive framework in anthropological film analyses are: the Other, the Ideology, and the Image. Different ways of anthropological perception result from the different accentuation of these categories in particular film genres: ethnographic films, documentaries, main stream feature films, progressive, amateur or “new-media” films.
