Wspomaganie niezależności komunikacyjnej dziecka niemówiącego w rodzinie za pomocą programu MÓWik Markuc, Elżbieta The article provides basic information about alternative and supportive communication and its use in the work with mute children. It presents traditional means of communicating with mute people and describes how the MÓWik programme works. It also shows the possibilities of using a tablet for everyday communication. The article focuses primarily on describing concrete situations from a family life in which the MÓWik programme can be used, for example playing, asking for food, telling about the day’s experiences, using polite forms of address. The article draws attention to the way in which the programme facilitates and accelerates communication with children or siblings but also how it influences supporting everyday speech therapy. Wspomaganie rodziny dziecka w wieku przedszkolnym z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną w rozwoju kompetencji komunikacyjnych Ochman, Agnieszka Supporting the development of communicative competencies of children with moderate mental retardation by the family environment is extremely important for the course of the logopedic therapy. The necessity of continuous repetitions and revisions of the structure of words often causes that the time that a speech therapist can devote is insufficient. Thus, a question arises: how parents can support their child’s therapy and simultaneously use everyday situations without overly engaging their valuable time. The article, after a short terminological introduction, describes the development of communication competency of people with moderate mental retardation and cognitive functions that directly influence it. It also provides practical tips for parents regarding how to support the development of speech. W jaki sposób można wspomagać rozwój umiejętności podzielania uwagi przez głuche dziecko słyszących rodziców? Kotowicz, Justyna The phenomenon of joined attention, i.e. the ability to coordinate attention between the objects of joined attention and another person, is important for the social, cognitive, and emotional development of a deaf and hearing child. A deaf child enters episodes of joined attention differently than a hearing child: a deaf child cannot simultaneously receive language communicates and direct the sight towards the object of joined attention. Deaf mothers adapt to the specific needs of deaf children during the episodes of joined attention by using the sequential schema of dividing attention as well as various strategies of proper division of attention. However, hearing mothers encounter problems during early interactions with deaf children. It is recommended that hearing parents emulate natural behaviours of deaf mothers during the episodes of joined attention with deaf children. Rola i działanie placówek integracyjnych w obliczu oczekiwań rodziców dziecka z niepełnosprawnością Michalczyk, Anna Over the last years, the topic of integration of disabled people has gained popularity. The author of the article suggests looking at the idea of integration in two ways – firstly, as the possibility of a fuller development and more independent functioning of a person. Secondly, as a chance for a disabled person to be oneself among others. Taking all these circumstances into consideration, it seems justified to implement this process into the earliest stages of education. However, its proper organization is a difficult and multidimensional task whose success depends on numerous factors. It is worth to consider what else can be done for all the ideological assumptions of the school integration to come into being.
