<title>Być stąd. O formacyjną wartość polonistycznej edukacji regionalnej (na przykładzie Nowej Huty)</title>

<description>Być stąd. O formacyjną wartość polonistycznej edukacji regionalnej (na przykładzie Nowej Huty)
Sienko, Maria
The author presents possibilities and educational value of creating a reflexive attitude of&#13;
Polish philology students in relation to their own local identity. She emphasizes the particular&#13;
role of a reflexive “being” in the nearest world in noticing current determinants of the shaping&#13;
of self-identification of particular people and groups, as well as contemporary problems of&#13;
regionalism and school regional education.&#13;
For Polish Philology students, one of the means to start a reflection upon creating one’s own&#13;
identification in the dynamically changing world can be creating identity narrations which&#13;
include one’s own background: I am from… The analysis of such self-narrations can help to&#13;
unveil current determinants of identity processes. It encourages people to deepen studies&#13;
on methods of creating bonds with a place and local society within the process of Polish&#13;
philology education.&#13;
The last part of the article depicts the use of narrative concept of identity in social and&#13;
artistic projects of Nowa Huta and in educational practice. It mainly serves to maintain&#13;
intergenerational transmission of values and to shape bonds with places of baffling heritage.

<title>Fotografia i „mała ojczyzna” − wykorzystanie fotografii dokumentalnej we współczesnej edukacji humanistycznej</title>

<description>Fotografia i „mała ojczyzna” − wykorzystanie fotografii dokumentalnej we współczesnej edukacji humanistycznej
Pławecka, Katarzyna Maria
The paper Photography and “the small homeland” − the use of documentary photography in&#13;
contemporary humanistic education ... must be seen as an attempt to enhance the importance&#13;
of photography in the process of education and self-education. The two main, sometimes&#13;
interpenetrating and complementary, adopted forms of expression: photography and „the&#13;
small homeland”, remained in the centre of the discussions. Numerous cognitive and socioemotional&#13;
values of photographic images have been invoked, e.g. 1) bearing witness to the&#13;
times, 2) the record of current world events, 3) pictorial presentation as a good means for&#13;
analysis, 4) a source of self-education – a component of emotional intelligence training,&#13;
emphatic skills and sensitivity (to experience other men and art) learning.&#13;
The use of iconic texts in the classroom (i.e. The Polish language, History, Art classes), or in the&#13;
form of extra-curricular activities (i.e. photo contests) has been profusely justified. Firstly –&#13;
a positive impact of photography on the important process of education and personal identity&#13;
formation of the youth. Secondly - the requirements of modern times, imposing the need for&#13;
change in the study and the perception of the image of „small homelands”. Furthermore, efforts&#13;
have been made to prove that a human document, especially a documentary photography,&#13;
serving to maintain links between the present, the future and the past, thus removes the&#13;
„space of oblivion”.

<title>Na powierzchni i w głąb. Interpretacja obrazu (Memlinga)</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11716/14261</link>
<description>Na powierzchni i w głąb. Interpretacja obrazu (Memlinga)
Kołodziej, Piotr
The model of education dominating in Polish high schools (contents based on a chronological&#13;
or historical-literary scheme) is a reason that works of art like The Last Judgement by Hans&#13;
Memling are a medium to mainly illustrate and broaden knowledge about literary periods.&#13;
This outline involves an offer to “read” the triptych of Gdańsk from a perspective of a totally&#13;
different context – an anthropocentric context, that is a framework in which instead of&#13;
a simplified course on the history of literature, students are offered a profound reflection&#13;
on topics which are the most important for human beings (so called canon of universal&#13;
problems). The author performs a complex interpretation of The Last Judgement in a certain&#13;
contextual configuration (fragments from the Bible, anthropological texts, works on the&#13;
history of art etc.) and based on this example the author also explains how to construct&#13;
a situation of being in contact with a work of art and a situation of interpreting a certain&#13;
work of art so that a student is enabled to project the meanings independently and as&#13;
a consequence, he is enabled to learn effectively.

<title>Zbrodnia to niesłychana – legalna marihuana! Parodia na warsztatach literackich</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11716/14260</link>
<description>Zbrodnia to niesłychana – legalna marihuana! Parodia na warsztatach literackich
Waligóra, Janusz
The author of the article focuses on parody as an aesthetic and cultural phenomenon in an&#13;
educational context. Janusz Waligóra notes the popularity of parody in contemporary culture&#13;
(and pop culture), he draws attention to the problems connected with defining this term and&#13;
juxtaposes different attitudes to the parody.&#13;
The argument is illustrated with a large number of literary examples. Their analysis is&#13;
a departure point for students to write their own literary works. Waligóra presents and&#13;
comments on the most interesting of them.
