<title>Uwagi o pochodzeniu gwary muszyńskiej</title>

<description>Uwagi o pochodzeniu gwary muszyńskiej
Bednarczuk, Leszek
On the basis of the contrastive analysis of Muszyna dialect conducted by professor Eugeniusz Pawłowski, the author &#13;
of the present study came to the conclusion that the dialect was formed under the influence of the Slovakian &#13;
language in the epoch before the Łemek colonisation, and it is a remnant of the oldest Polish settlers’ stratum in &#13;
the Karpaty region.

<title>Osobliwości regionalnego języka Muszyny i Tylicza</title>

<description>Osobliwości regionalnego języka Muszyny i Tylicza
Pawłowski, Eugeniusz
As a result of the separation of Muszyna and Tylicz from the homogeneous region of Polish language by the belt of &#13;
Łemek (West-Ukrainian Karpatian dialect) villages, a dialect was created in both towns, which on the one hand &#13;
combines archaisms (especially lexical), and on the other innovations, which are difficult to explain and which &#13;
were heavily influenced by the Łemek (Ukrainian), Slovakian and Hungarian neighbours.

<title>Kilka uwag o językowym świecie Izaaka Babla</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11716/4606</link>
<description>Kilka uwag o językowym świecie Izaaka Babla
Żeberek, Teresa
The conducted analysis comprises those images of reality described by Babel, which constitute the writer-&#13;
ornamentalist’s characteristic substance. Such writer tends to seek a theatrical ornamentation in the surrounding &#13;
world, its exquisite colour, and a detail, which can adopt an extraordinaiy standing. Not only the artistic prose &#13;
of Armia Konna was taken into consideration but also the text of Dziennik, which could be treated as the rough &#13;
material for this sequence of works.&#13;
The presentation of the scene of events depicted from the perspective of writer Lutow, who is the narrator, &#13;
undergoes the analysis. His attention is attracted by whatever happens on the ground, in the landscape, sky, the &#13;
sun, the moon; and the presentation is conducted with the use of rich rhetorical figures and in the fairy-tale &#13;
manner. On the one hand, such a description reflects the wealth of the inner world of the observer, lonely amidst &#13;
the Cossacks; on then other hand, it depicts cruelty and death brought about by the war.&#13;
The author draws the attention to Poles and Poland in the works and personal notes of the writer, which are in fact &#13;
much different from what is usually attributed to the writer.

<title>Verba dicendi wprowadzające mowę niezależną w "Panu Tadeuszu" (na przykładzie ks. VII)</title>
<link>http://hdl.handle.net/11716/4605</link>
<description>Verba dicendi wprowadzające mowę niezależną w "Panu Tadeuszu" (na przykładzie ks. VII)
Zarębina, Maria
There exist various theories about the function performed by verba dicendi in the syntactic structure. The author &#13;
of the present study adopted the meta-informative perspective. In the epic Pan Tadeusz the seventh book entitled &#13;
Rada (The Council) includes most illustrative material and, although it is the shortest of all the books (553 &#13;
verses), it is in its half a dialogue or even multilogue. 25 verb entries of the verba dicendi type occur 87 times &#13;
in the text (most frequent ones are krzyknąć fr = 13 and rzec fr = 12).&#13;
These verbs either report the process of encoding information (e.g. mówić, powiedzieć, ozwać się) or perform the &#13;
transmitting and reporting function (e.g. krzyczeć, wykrzykiwać, brząknąć, pisnąć, wrzasnąć); they can also &#13;
characterise the situation in the information transmission process (e.g. ciągnąć, prawić, przydać, kończyć) or &#13;
exchange of information (e.g. prosić, odpowiedzieć, spytać, powtórzyć); finally they block information (przerwać).&#13;
There also occur word groups with a noun, which are synonymous with reference to verbs (e.g. powstał krzyk, zabrał &#13;
głos).&#13;
The verb gadać (fr = 48), which is most characteristic of Mickiewicz in general and of Pan Tadeusz in particular, &#13;
does not function as the introductory element of direct speech.
