<title>Miejsce dorosłych osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną w pedagogice specjalnej</title>

<description>Miejsce dorosłych osób z niepełnosprawnością intelektualną w pedagogice specjalnej
Wolska, Danuta
People with disabilities, similarly to their non-disabled peers, realise different life tasks&#13;
depending on the phase of their life. Regardless of whether the adult person will lead their&#13;
life among their original family or create their own family, they must be sure they can count&#13;
on professional support. The support possibilities are regulated by legal regulations, studied&#13;
by the special pedagogy students during their education in order to be able to present them to&#13;
people with disabilities, should they want to make use of the psychological or economic help.

The article describes the issues connected to the interdisciplinary approach to the process&#13;
of rehabilitation of people with visual disability, points out the necessity for the psychologist&#13;
to take more part not only as a diagnostician, but most of all as a person preventing the&#13;
psychological breakdowns of the disabled child's parents and as a person that helps blinded&#13;
people return to their mental stability. Together with that, some synonymous terms were&#13;
discussed, which are wrongly considered substitutes, which makes the communication of&#13;
multiple specialists working together in the process of rehabilitation difficult The positive&#13;
tendencies of development support of a child with visual disability within early rehabilitation&#13;
were pointed out, but the attention was also put on neglecting the early implementation of&#13;
special orientation training and those aspects of a blind child not covered by the therapists'&#13;
care. Finally, the article points out to the enormous possibilities of active participation in&#13;
the life of visually impaired children due to the development of information technology,&#13;
especially with the use of and constant development of new computer programmes, enabling&#13;
verbal communication with the device.

<title>Komunikatywność osób ze specjalnymi potrzebami - nadrzędnym celem współczesnej praktyki logopedycznej</title>

<description>Komunikatywność osób ze specjalnymi potrzebami - nadrzędnym celem współczesnej praktyki logopedycznej
Brzdęk, Ewa; Cierpiałowska, Tamara
Logopaedics is the only discipline that is currently in the state of intense development. It&#13;
creates a number of new methods to help people with communicative dysfunctions. The issue&#13;
of communicativeness is one of the basic interests of logopaedics in both the dimension of&#13;
modern theory and practice. The ability to communicate is especially important in relation&#13;
to people with special educational and developmental needs. When preparing students of&#13;
the Special Pedagogy specialisation to take up the professional nactivity, we accentuate the&#13;
meaning of creativity in the process of logopaedic therapy.&#13;
The article underlines the role of modern development support as a basis to shape&#13;
communicativeness within the logopaedic practice. In order to develop the strategy of&#13;
communicativeness improvement we offer, aside from the traditional therapy methods, the&#13;
use of modern devices and therapy programmes, e.g. the Warnke method or the alternative&#13;
or support communication methods.
