Próba odtworzenia genezy przełomów Skawy poniżej Skawiec

Abstract

The article is concerned with the evolution of the relief of the Skawa valley between Skawce and Gorzeń Dolny. Upon analysing the location of the existing levelling zones, the author has reconstructed the former coures of the valley as well as hypothetically traced the Skawa ravines, cutting through the Krosno layers between Skawce and Świnna Poręba, and through the Beskid Mały between Czartak and Gorzeń Dolny. Both these ravines by their character are structural gorges.
