Abstract

The article presents a comparative history of parliamentarism in the current Austria, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. We analysed the origins and historical development stages of assembly. The next stages of their development is presented in the context of the most important historical changes that were taking place in the country. The author tries to present different ways of development of parliament in contemporary western federal states.
