dc.description.abstractThe scale of the impact of terrorist attacks on social perceptions depends on how many people learn about such an event in the shortest possible time. Social media currently provides the opportunity to maximize this impact. The aim of the article is to analyze the cases of using social media by terrorists, including on the example of the terrorist attack by Brenton Tarrant in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2019. The conducted case study is intended to illustrate the phenomenon of the universality and scale of social media use on many levels of terrorist activity.en_EN
