Terrorism is a phenomenon that nowadays has become one of the greatest threats to the security not only of states, power structures, but also of entire societies. Terrorism is a dynamic phenomenon undergoing changes accompanying the development of modern civilization. The methods of terrorist organizations are also changing and are characterized by the improvement of methods of carrying out attacks. Suicide bombings are one of the most effective methods of terrorist attacks. Terrorists are most often convinced that they are acting in a just cause, they feel a kind of mission that justifies the crimes committed. They believe that the fight they are fighting is their duty. Suicide terrorists remain loyal and take into account the point of view of the terrorist group of which they are members and the goals they want to achieve together. The nature of modern terrorism means that suicide bombers are likely to find their followers.en_EN
