Manipulation of information is not a new phenomenon, but has taken on a completely new dimension, due to the unprecedented possibilities of the Internet and social networks to disseminate information and create viruses out of them, as well as the crisis of trust currently experienced by democracies. However, the ability to distort reality has caused a rapid leap forward thanks to the technology of “deepfake” - a technique of synthesis of human image based on artificial intelligence, which enables creating real video with people speaking and doing things that they would never say or do. Machine learning techniques increase the level of technology advancement, making deep counterfeits more and more realistic and more resistant to detection.en
