dc.description.abstract | Electropolishing is a method of removing roughness on metallic surfaces. Effectiveness and
quality of the process depend on a lot of factors. This work includes results of investigation
of electropolished 2017A aluminum alloy. Voltage 30V to 50V caused effective polishing.
The best surface quality was reached applying parameters: 50V, 10 s time of polishing, 20°C
electrolyte temperature. Large flow of electrolyte, less then $0,8 cm^2$ of polishing surface and
no 1200 send paper grinding before polishing should be applied. Moreover, DIC Nomarski
method of investigation of electropolished metallic surfaces was the most useful. | en |
