dc.description.abstractIn the article, practical methods used in the process of rapid prototyping and their basic advantages and disadvantages are described. The production cycle for the example-element with the use of two methods of rapid prototyping - 3DPrinting and FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) is discussed. The used methods are examined by three-dimensional scanning. It is ascertained that the method more profitable for the described element was 3DPrinting.en
