Abstract

The paper is devoted to the determination and the use of the ultimate parameters, i.e. the ultimate proportional controller gain and the ultimate period in control. The simple relations which enable identifying two parameters of common plants with a time delay on the basis of the ultimate parameters and vice versa enable determining the ultimate parameters mostly approximately, but are given for practice with a sufficient accuracy. These relations are original.
