dc.description.abstractIn the theoretical part of the presented paper basic causes of teacher’s voice problems are described. Teachers are a very specific group, specially exposed to occupational diseases. In this paper a group of teachers with short job experience, working in their occupation up to 15 years, was analyzed. If students decide to become teachers, they must be aware that their future work will cause remarkable load of the voice organ. This paper also contains analyses of legal and practical issues, useful advice for teachers, and moreover the concept of introducing a new subject called “Voice emission” in pedagogical studies. In the last part of this paper, the results of pool research on the efficiency of the subject “Voice emission” are presented. Key words: teacher, voice emission, occupational disease.en
