dc.description.abstract | Results of research into determination of indentation fracture toughness measurement of
advanced ceramics for example of $α-Al_2O_3$ and $Al_2O_3-ZrO_2$ composite has been presented in
this work. Indentation fracture toughness has been determined from direct measurement of
the crack length, developed from Vickers indent corner along his diagonal as a load function.
Indentation fracture toughness was calculated basis of a formula proposed by Niihara, in
accordance with crack shape observed on a specimen cross-section. | en |
