In the article the author cites the results of an empirical study of gender differences in negative behavioral manifestations in adolescents. The complex program of experimental work included methods aimed at studying personal behavior, diagnosing interpersonal relations, studying the states of aggression, diagnosing aggression, studying mental states and personality traits. A factor analysis of the results obtained allowed us to conclude that 1) gender correlates with aggression; 2) aggressive types of behavior correlate with physical aggression; 3) aggression correlates with the general level of aggression, with aggressive motivation, verbal aggression and negativism in general; 4) situational characteristics of the personality correlate with certain types of behavior. This often makes teenagers socially incompetent.en
