Deepening European integration has always given rise to disputes and controversies, both at the individual and at the institutional level. One of the most prominent groups shaping the debates have been political parties, their leaders and representatives both at home and abroad. The paper aims at presenting the views of the extreme right-wing parties on the broadly conceived issue of the European integration. The paper follows the framework which focuses on three main aspects: principles, practice and vision of the European integration. On this basis, three types of Eurosceptic attitudes of right-wing parties in Western Europe are distinguished and used in further comparisons. In the main section of the paper, the qualitative analysis of party manifestos and statements is conducted to demonstrate the evolution of views of some extreme right-wing parties in new member states (Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary) between the years 2001-2010. The examples analysed are compared with relevant specimens of West European party policies and shown in their many variants.en
