Abstract

The article Internal security of the country. Selected problems focuses on defining the notion of contemporary internal security of the country. It discusses the functions that the state has to fulfill with regard to the internal security. The author analyzes the steps undertaken by the state to ensure security, public order as well as protection of health and property of the citizens. The article also refers to the protection of values - important although non-material components that comprise the internal security.
