Abstract

Corruption, as a timeless phenomenon, has always negatively influenced the sphere of social activity. Together with nepotism it has an extreme influence on the efficiency of particular state authorities. In the article Corruption as a threat for the internal security of the country the author defines the notion of corruption and describes the influence of the phenomenon on the functioning of the country. He also clarifies the consequences that corruption has for the country and the society.
