Abstract

The author presents the complex issue of using fuels as a tool in Kremlin’s policy, both in its internal and external dimension. He draws particular attention to the problem of the monocultural character of economy of the Russian Federation and the consequences that may arise from the county’s excessive dependency on fuels (so called monocultural character of the country).
