| dc.description.abstract | The text discusses the work of two contemporary British Artists: Rachel Whiteread
and Tom Hunter, who address the issue of private space. I refer their work about
personal experience to a wider cultural and political context, thus including the aspect
of collective identity into the reflection about personal experience. Whiteread's
sculptures and Hunter s photographs, both addressing private spaces, are analysed
as expressions of how the private mingles with the public. | en |
