dc.description.abstractThe forging technology in opened dies with limited flash is presented. The minimal flow of metal to flash was obtained by using the proper shape of preform. Numerical calculations of material flow in forging dies were carried out.Optimization of preform shape was based on analysis of flow velocity vector fields in last forging stage.en_EN
