The deformability of aluminium-based composites reinforced with particles of AI2O3 in volume fraction of 10 and 20% was investigated by compression test on the ring-shaped specimens. The compression tests of the ring-shaped specimens were carried out at temperatures of 293 and 473 K with initial strain rate of 10(-4)s(-1). The deformability curves were plotted, with three intervals distinguished - safe strain, intermediate strain, and critical fracture strain.en_EN
