| dc.description.abstract | Professor Janina Wyczesany, brilliant Polish special pedagogue, has been connected to the
Pedagogical University in Cracow throughout her whole "scientific life", taking a number of
important positions, including the head of the Chair of Special Pedagogy (2004-2008). Her
didactic, organisational, and especially scientific activity has had, and still has, influence on
the image and shape of the national special pedagogy. Multithreading and multiaspectivity of
the research issues undertaken by Her are difficult to be locked within any precise borders,
though the first plan is taken over by issues connected with early school mathematics
education of students with special educational needs, history, modernity and directions
of the development of special pedagogy for people with intellectual disability as well as
comparatistic special pedagogy. | en |
