Wydmy pólnocno-zachodniej części Płaskowyżu Jędrzejowskiego

Abstract

The author devotes his attention to a group of dunes in the N.-W. part of Jędrzejów Upland. In view of establishing their genesis statistic-morphometric and petrographic analyses have been carried out and various types of these dunes are described. Conclusions are reached that their sand is of fluvio-glacial origin and has been blown to some small distances by the W., N.-W. and S.-W winds. The destruction of sandy coverings and the formation of dunes was conditioned by the surface relief.
