Stożki usypiskowe w Tatrach

Abstract

On the ground of field investigations the author concludes that two groups of factors contribute to the formation of Talus Cones in the Tatra. The first group — the kind of the rock debris depending on the petrographic constitution of the rock causes the formation of a due angle of inclination of the upper part of the cone in accordance wiht the natural angle of rest of the debris (36,5°). The mean and the bottom parts of the cones is affected also by the second group of factores (vegetation, waters).
