A close investigation of the Glacial surface relief was carried out in 1956 in the W. Beskids. On the ground of these researches conclusions have been reached stating, that forms till now considered to be of glacial origin have their explanation in processes of mass motions. The declivities of Babia Góra (1725 m. of alt.), Pilsko (1557 m. alt.), Barania Góra (1214 m. alt.) and Skrzyczne (1250 m. alt.), have been distorted by landslides, slumps, rockfalls and landslips. These forms being in different stages of development are continually submitted to processes of rejuvenation and reshaping.en_EN
