Migracje ludności polskiej na południową stronę Karpat

Abstract

The article concerns former ethnic groups of Polish settlers in Czechoslovakia and Hungary. Most of these groups ceased to exist as such already in the beginning of the XX century. The process of disappearance of some of them is still continuing at present. A part of the Polish population from Spisz, Orawa, Czadecki and Szarysz moved over to the Hungarien Lowlands, following the withdrowal of the Turks toward the end of the XVII and the beginning of the XVIII century.
