dc.description.abstractCoriolis force, a resultant of the spinning of the Earth governs the movement of any Earthern body. Due to the action exerted by its acceleration every moving body suffers a right hand side deviation on the Northern hemisphere and a left hand side deviation on the Southern hemisphere C = 2 * W * sin φ cm/sek2 Where C = Coriolis force W = angular velocity of the rewolution of the Earth φ = geographic latitude V = velocity of air motion The second part of the work is a study of the effect of Coriolis force on atmospheric phenomena. In the analysis of its operation attention is given to the formation and the movement of essential barometric systems. An extensive discussion is devoted to the role of Coriolis force in the general, system of the planetary circulation of the atmosphere and its momentous importance in the dynamics of the atmosphere.en_EN
