Wpływ dwusiarczanu czterometyletiuramu (TMTD) na przebieg podziałów mitotycznych w komórkach merystematycznych Secale Cereale L.

Abstract

It has been found by analysis that the tetramethyloturam disulphate contained in the seed dressing T reduces the mitotic activity of meristematic cells of conical growing points of Secale Cereale L. The decrease of the cell's divisibility varied according to the size of the TMTD dose applied. In most of the examined cells, the successive stages of karyokinesis have followed a normal course; nevertheless, however, in a few cells certain irregularities have been detected, which in all probability were the result of intra-chromosomal changes brought about by TMTD.
