dc.description.abstractThe author lists 142 varieties of lichen and their respective position in tne Podhale Region (Polish West Carpathians). Many of these are of rare occurrence in Poland, as, e.g. Coniocybe gracilenta, Cyphelium caliciforme, C. Tigillare and Arthonia lurida. A number of calciphyle varieties of lichen is highly interesting, as, e.g. Placynthium tremniacum, Solorina soccata, Caloplaca cirrochroa, C. stillicidiorum, Buellia epipolia, B. ventosa, and others. The author intends to continue his reserch on the lichen of the Podhale Region.en_EN
