The author has presented the results of a questionnaire inquiry made in 1965 among geography teachers of the Cracow School District concerning the dissemination of the problem method and team work among them. The questionnaire has shown that the idea of problem-team teaching unger different forms and to a varying extent had been introduced to geography lessons by fifty teachers, i. e. by 28 per cent of the over-all number of respondentd. The results of the questionnaire inquiries were checked by interviews made with the staff of the Methodological Centre and paedagogic control (supervision), as well as through direct observation of geography lessons. The results were far from satisfactory. The author has included also in the article the opinions expressed by the examined geography teachers on the problem method and team work, as well as a tentative estimate of how far the method had been actually disseminated, and how work had been organized in 1969.en_EN
