Podmiotowy aspekt religii w twórczości Jana Hempla

Abstract

The contents of the paper consists in the representation and critical survey of the conception of the subjective aspect of religion in Jan Hempel's work. The author successively deals with the method of stating and solving the following problems in Hempel's work: religious attitude and consciousness, immanent experience called "inner upheaval", the social and psychological conditioning of religious consciousness as well as mysticism, the practical functions of religious consciousness. He underlines also the methodological and cognitive values of the scientific interpretation of these problems in the respective stages of Hempel's work.
