dc.description.abstract | The author of the paper represents the progress of the experiment conducted by her in the fifth grade of one of
Cracow elementary schools. Its object was to create among the pupils the habits of model pronunciation and
intonation during the first three months of teaching with the help of the special system of exercises (apart from
linguistic cabins, tape recorders and other technical devices). It aimed also at the consolidation of these habits
