dc.description.abstract | The temperature changes of electrical conductivity, as well as changes of the Seebeck coefficient and the
electrical permeability of sodium niobate $NaNbO_3$, have been investigated. The obtained data were used to define
the type of conductivity and to determine the activation energy of the charge carriers.
Requirements for an unequivocal determination of the electrical conductivity were defined and attempts made to
apply the theory of currents bounded by the space charge to determine the trap density in the investigated
material.
Utilizing the results of the investigations of the electrical properties of the material, tests have been carried
out to determine the temperature of the phase transitions, known up to now only from X-ray or optical examinations. | en_EN |
