Uczucia metafizyczne u podstaw kultury (z badań nad filozofią Stanisława Ignacego Witkiewicza)

Abstract

The paper presents Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz’s ideas concerning the problem of interdependence of metaphysical emotions and culture. Such manifestations of culture as religion, philosophy or art are considered by him as transformations of metaphisical emotions. The paper also includes, particularly in its initial part, an analysis of Witkiewicz's ideas on metaphysics and the place occupied in it by metaphysical emotions.
