Uwagi o pochodzeniu gwary muszyńskiej

Abstract

On the basis of the contrastive analysis of Muszyna dialect conducted by professor Eugeniusz Pawłowski, the author of the present study came to the conclusion that the dialect was formed under the influence of the Slovakian language in the epoch before the Łemek colonisation, and it is a remnant of the oldest Polish settlers’ stratum in the Karpaty region.
