dc.description.abstract | Alternations of vowels 'e//'o, 'e//'a as well as e//o involving old proto-Slavonic vocalism without mutation presented in the paper refer to the verbs niesą, wiezą, to the noun with the stem siestrz- and the nouns taken the form of loc. sing. na ledzie, w miedzie, and w rzemieśle, and to the adjective brzezowy derived from brzeza, proto-Slavonic berza. There is also a vocalism involving alternation without secondary mutation occurring in derivations osieł, osiełek, kocieł, kociełek, and also analogical regularization in ćwierć and ćwiertować, gniazdo and w gniaździe, the group -ja, -je in odjazd and odjachać, and more contemporary analogical e in alternations zwierciadło//w zwierciedle. Moreover, regional forms of Greater Poland e.g. upiery and upierzyce, of Western Pomerania in regularizations biorę and biorze, and of southeastern Poland wlokę and rozwlokłym occurred in the stylistically characterized level of language. In manuscripts eastern-Slavonic vocalism, shown in synchronically foreign words e.g. guwernor, guberner and guwerner with the alternation e//o in suffixes, can be found. They are all phonetic and phonological curiosities of the language of Elżbieta Druzbacka’s texts on condition that dispalatalization 'e to 'o and 'e to 'a in other words than these ones shown in the paper may already agree with the norm of the 18th century language characterized by I. Bajerowa. | en_EN |
