The author conducts the analysis of K.I. Gałczyński’s poem of 1946. In contrast to other poems Kolczyki Izoldy was not lucky with interpretations. It was either neglected and treated with silence or interpreted in a totally inadequate way (A. Stawow, A. Sandauer). Kulawik places the poem in the context of political journalism of Przekrój (E. Osmańczyk), the discussion between J. Kott and M. Dąbrowska and Dwa teatry by J. Szaniawski. Thus, the author reads the poem as a participating voice in the discussion about the Warsaw Uprising and the attitudes of Poles towards the post-war reality.en_EN
