dc.description.abstract | The article attempts to analyse the title relation on three planes: topic, emotion and verse. The author arrives
at a conclusion that apart from inspirations to conduct versification experiments, Barańczak hardly ever used the
poetic “lesson” of early Miłosz in his own literary output. The factor responsible for it is the difference in
poetic characters and Barańczak’s inability to create an emphatic literary subject that is so characteristic of
