In this discussion on communication we talk ussually about the communication between the partners of an interaction. We assume that the communication is a process of an information interchange. This is popular paradigm, but its use may cause situation that we don't pay attention to the self-communication or inner dialogue (different from monologue). A self-communication is the process of calling up meaning by the use of symbols connected with subject's self. In this case our thinking involve analysis of the self. Therefore the crucial role of it is clear in communication research. The perception of us as subjects, dividing the self to knower and known – can improve our interpersonal communication. In the phenomenological research an experience of the self, a way of its construction is pointed out. Those experiences determine who am I and how process of communication is realized.en_EN
