The knowledge of technical terms among pupils from primary school can be estimated on the base of their interest in technical studies. The interest is shown by the knowledge of terms from various technical fields and the ability to perform some activities. Drawing, cutting, sewing, sawing, drilling or measuring are some of the activities. Pupils’ preparation to work in the social working process can be evaluated by the quantity of possessed knowledge and skills. In the experimental examination investigating the problem of efficiency of teaching methods and technical education, a very important issue is the question of the process result verification. The collected examination material makes it possible to determine the extent of technical knowledge possessed by pupils from primary school. The examination carried out in a primary school permits to ascertain that pupils’ knowledge of technical terms is insufficient.en_EN
