There have been preserved glacial and fluvioglacial deposits and forms as kame hummocks, terraces and Pleistocene patches in the Lipnica valley. The mentioned forms are built of boulder clays, gravels, erratics and diagonally or slantwise bedded sands. Above flood terrace which is inserted into the valley depression adjoins the Pleistocene high plain. It is built of fluvioglacial accumulation deposits mainly of gravels and sands diagonally bedded with erratics, clay and sandy clay insertions. The origin of the deposits should be connected with the vicinity offront of the glacier or pieces of the dead ice. So, the origin and age of the above flood terrace in the Lipnica valley should be connected with the deglaciation process in the Niecka Włoszczowska during the maximum stage of the Middle Poland glaciation which covered the area.en_EN
