The article is a deliberation on the topic of the use of computer technology in the process of
education, especially in logopedic therapy. It includes both the conclusions of the observations
from own work, with able and disabled children in the school age, and the opinions of
many scientists together with some of the studies in the area conducted by them. It is also
an attempt to answer the question on the justification of bigger engagement of children in
classes which include multimedia aides. The explanation and justification of this process has
been found in the area of cognitive psychology, where the human mind is being compared
to the computer. It also includes a short description of the organization and functioning of
a human brain, including inter alia attention, memory, which play a very important role in
gathering new education content. Furthermore, the author pays attention to the decisive role
of emotions in acquiring new knowledge which influence the reception of a sensation even
before realizing it. The article also includes the elaboration on multimedia education which
starts to take a high position in the technology of education and has theoretical reference to
psychological concepts of knowledge and skill gathering. It includes the research on the use
of computer technology and description of computer programs used in a logopedic therapy.
