| dc.description.abstract | In the first part of this paper the author presents her own path as a teacher. During her professional
career she has met the Professor numerous times. The first time was when she was
a geography student at the Jagiellonian University. The subsequent occasions occurred when
she was a geography teacher in primary school and also as a PhD student of the didactics of
geography.
In main part of the paper the author presented the curriculum of the PhD studies in the field
of didactics of geography at the Higher College of Teacher Training (now the Pedagogical
University of Cracow). The author evaluated the above-mentioned curriculum from various
