Spatial vision is a natural way of perceiving of the surrounding world. It thus comes as natural
that only few people ponder on why we see three-dimensional images. On the other hand,
the flatness of the photographic images is usually perceived as a result of presentation of the
image on a plane. And only the film "Avatar" showed that the world projected onto the plane
of the screen can be perceived as three-dimensional. This caused a huge public demand for
three-dimensional imaging systems. At the same time, 3D televisions have become cheaper so
that they have become available to the average customer.
Of course, this condition applies to the entire civilized world. At the same time we can see
problems known since the first immersive training systems for pilots – not every customer
tolerates well three-dimensional images produced by means of the available systems.
Therefore, the present paper makes an attempt to look at the currently available 3D systems
from the point of view of their possible impact on the health of the recipient. At the same time
the widespread use of these systems results in significant qualitative changes in the receipt of
information by man (doctor, surveyor, architect, biologist and crystallographer).
