Antropologia słowa w tekstach Adama Mickiewicza

Abstract

The subject of this paper is a linguistic description of semantic characteristics of Adam Mickiewicz's idiolect against the model of the language of his epoch. The author interprets selected pieces of poetry and prose in the framework of the 19th century ethnographic anthropology and political theory. She suggests a discursive research paradigm, which changes the point of view and the reception of the text in the perspective of legal interests of the author and the reader. By analyzing the items of legal vocabulary in the context of the 19th century philosophy of the law, the author examines the relation between Mickiewicz’s linguistic expression and legal facts, presents its linguistic signs against the background of cultural model of rights and duties opposition in organization of a human community, and shows the word law in the model of semantic structures forming the semantic field of normative and descriptive expressions concerning interpersonal relations.
