dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the article is to identify the originality of the author’s ethical and philosophical
views of Chingiz Aitmatov on the material of his novels “The White Ship” (Bielyj parokhod)
and “Piebald dog running along sea edge” (Piegij pios, biegushchij krajem moria). Aitmatov’s
ethic-philosophical views are examined and analysed in the article through the prism of philosophical
categories of good and evil, related to religious and cultural traditions of humanity.
The conditional artistic receptions are investigated for the task solution, which have been
found reflection in works of writer. Conclusion: the creativity of Aitmatov is a holistic system
based on ethical and philosophical views that form an idea of the correct and rational structure
of the world. The themes of continuation of the human species and the relationship of
the individual with the surrounding reality are the link of all Aitmatov’s works. They convey
the whole range of ethical and philosophical ideas of the writer. The feeling of conflict and
disharmony of the world has allowed the writer to determine the principles of consideration
of memory and oblivion, of good and evil, of love and hate, of life and death. These antinomies
not divide but unite in a single attempt to comprehend the truth. The writer does not provide
ready-made solution, but warns. | en_EN |
